Today’s love story is dedicated to acts of kindness between neighbors. A Springhill neighborhood resident, affectionately known as Papa John, turned 86 years old yesterday. His neighbors coordinated a special surprise for him and gathered to sing, “Happy Birthday” in front of his house - 6 feet apart from one another of course! After the song, Papa John shared his thanks, “I think the word is gratitude,” he said. “Gratitude to be alive. Gratitude to live here… to know you. Hello! I have to say that it doesn’t get any better than this!”
