It’s officially Back to School! As a team, we couldn’t help but smile and rally behind the story of Buddy the Buffalo from Los Perales Elementary in Moraga. Allison’s oldest son is now a first grader at LP and his new teacher implemented a class mascot, Buddy the Buffalo, for the reason below…

“While cows, their close relatives, huddle together, the Buffalo take the storm head on, traveling directly into its path. This symbolism of the majestic Buffalo heading directly into the storm is very fitting and an interesting reminder of how to confront life's obstacles”

We are fortunate to have incredible teachers in Lamorinda and wish everyone a wonderful 2020-2021 school year. We are stronger together, and we’ll navigate through the school year – HEAD ON!
