Springhill resident Heather Alexander has been fiercely dedicated to the Cancer for College foundation in honor of her father who lost his battle to bile duct cancer 10 years ago. With support from her Springhill neighbors, the Lamorinda community and many others, she helps to raise $5,000 to go toward college scholarships and educational experiences for cancer survivors.
