For many years, my primary goal has been to give back to the community that helped raise me. For those of you who don’t know my story, I was born and raised in Lafayette. I am the oldest of three girls. When I was 16, my mother tragically died of a fast and aggressive cancer (she was 40). My father had three teenage girls, was grieving, and trying to run his commercial real estate career and raise his daughters all at the same time. The Lafayette community literally wrapped their arms around our family during this difficult time. It was then I learned the true meaning of community and the importance of giving back. Residential real estate allows me to do this! I have created an amazing team of skilled individuals with similar passions and we are all able to introduce and connect people to this community and within this community. For this, we are all grateful! 

My secondary goal is to give back to the real estate industry! Last year, I started teaching classes and mentoring other agents on how to build a successful real estate business and team. I will be teaching four classes this week at the Compass Retreat in Austin and look forward to doing so. With each class taught, I too learn as a Realtor, refine my skills, and grow. Lauren Woolsey and Wendy Means will be joining me this week and we are excited to collaborate with and learn from our outstanding colleagues from across the country. We hope to pick up a few good nuggets that will enhance our business and allow us to better serve y’all! 

In terms of the market, it is still moving quickly and we are excited to list homes until mid-December. We have fabulous new listings that have just hit the market as well as other new listings coming this year. Our team does not seem to be slowing down and interest rates just got a little better, so stay engaged!
