K-12 kids are invited to paint a fish with the Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery and Ken Hughes! Inspired by the fish tank-like top of the JPG gallery at the corner of Moraga and Mt. Diablo, local engineer Ken Hughes decided to sponsor materials and installation for a colorful youth-created fish display. We can’t wait to see it!
If you want to design and paint a fish that will float on the corner, for all the world to see, pick up the base of card stock at the JPG gallery. They will supply the piece of card stock and the rest is up to you! Please paint both sides of the fish.
Important notes:
1. Only 56 pieces will be given out. First come first served. Visit JPG during open hours (with your mask on). Open hours: Wednesday-Friday 2-6pm and Saturday 12-6pm
2. Cut out your own fish shape between 18” and 30”
3. Decorate as you fish.
4. Return to the gallery by Sept. 23rd.
