Lafayette Library Children's Librarian, Allegra, compiled a list of award-winning picture books just for you! Without the option to browse the aisles of local bookstores, many parents are struggling to choose new books for their children and welcome suggestions. That’s where Allegra stepped in! Her favorite book on the list is Truman (for ages 4 to) written by Jean Reidy and illustrated by Lucy Ruth Cummins.

Thank you to Allegra for helping parents discover new books for their children’s libraries! Visit the website below to see all of the books Allegra has suggested.
