If you ask our team for one of their favorite gatherings, our downtown Lafayette holiday event always tops the list. We love sharing the delight of new clients (now friends!) in our community who experience the event for the first time to the continued joy of those who return every year. That’s why we are once again proud to be a sponsor and provide funding for Lafayette’s seasonal Mt. Diablo twinkle lights. 

The event has something for everyone - musical performances, photos with Santa, arts and crafts, train rides, hot cocoa, and bites and sips from our local restaurants and breweries. 

This year festivities will begin at 4:30 pm on December 4, 2022 in the Lafayette Plaza. Admission is free. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 5:00 on Old Betsy, Lafayette’s first fire truck, via Golden Gate Way and Plaza Way. Food and entertainment continue throughout the event while the official lighting of the Lafayette holiday tree is planned for 6:00 pm.

This annual gathering is a wonderful example of our strong sense of community. Whether you’ve been part of our community for a month, a year, or many years or are contemplating a move to Lafayette, we can’t wait to say hello at this amazing event. It truly is a wonderful life!
