Our first love story involves the Springhill neighborhood in Lafayette. This neighborhood is busy looking for today’s silver lining as they make lemonade and limoncello out of neighborhood lemons! 

Here’s what they have done: 

• Created a neighborhood communication group via email
• Delivered groceries and meals to older residents in their neighborhood
• Offered free FaceTime tutoring, from a Retired Teacher, to struggling students
• Opened their garages to share tools for those doing at-home projects
• Left lemons on doorsteps to share (for their yummy limoncello and lemon bread recipes!)
