When Todd and I bought our first house in Lafayette, 25+ years ago, it not only signified acquiring property but immersing ourselves and our two children in a group of approximately 25,000 people who call this charming city home!
My primary goal living here has been to give back to the community that helped raise me. For those of you who don’t know my story, I was born and raised in Lafayette. I am the oldest of three girls. When I was 16, my mother tragically died of a fast and aggressive cancer (she was 40). My father had three teenage girls, was grieving, and trying to run his commercial real estate career and raise his daughters all at the same time. The Lafayette community literally wrapped their arms around our family during this difficult time. It was then that I learned the true meaning of community and the importance of giving back.
Residential real estate allows me to do this! I have created an amazing team of skilled individuals with similar passions, and we are all able to introduce and connect people to this community and within this community. For this, we are all grateful!
