As a long-time supporter of the Lafayette Juniors and creator of their annual Lifestyle Tour, I’m excited to announce this year’s event. Formerly known as the Kitchen Tour, I proposed this event over 20 years ago as the fundraising chair for the Lafayette Juniors.  It has grown to become one of the most anticipated yearly community events and the biggest fundraiser for this non-profit group. This unique outing offers the opportunity to explore well designed interiors and exterior gardens to inspire ideas for your next project or just to enjoy the pretty houses and take a peek at the various lifestyles showcased. 

The self-guided adventure will feature five homes this year, including mine which recently underwent interior and exterior renovations that I’m excited to share with everyone. If you opt for the lunch ticket, this year will also include a designated luncheon home so you can enjoy a peaceful meal in an awe-inspiring setting. Meals will be provided by the delicious Town Bakery in Moraga.

Proceeds from the tour will directly support local beneficiaries including, A Brighter Day Charity, Assistance League of Diablo Valley, and Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 6 from 10am to 3pm. Early bird tickets are available now until April 7, after which prices go up. Please visit the Lafayette Juniors website to purchase tickets. $50 of the ticket price is tax deductible. Addresses will be emailed upon ticket purchase, and guests can begin at any home.
