Your raffle ticket purchase helps LPIE’s mission of investing in the incredible public education that helps our K-12 students succeed. 100% of the proceeds support our students’ education – in reading, writing, math, science, art, music, social studies, technology and more.
UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Notes & Words, April 23, Fox Theater, Oakland: This evening of live music and storytelling features Beck, the Rainbow Girls, Peggy Orenstein, Viet Thanh Nguyen, and Vocal Rush. 100% of the proceeds go directly to providing hope and healing to children and families undergoing treatment at Oakland’s Children’s Hospital. Lafayette Juniors Lafayette Lifestyle Tour, April 30 (formerly the Lafayette Juniors Kitchen Tour): I was proud to have initiated this fundraiser 20 years ago, and it continues to be one of Lamorinda’s most beloved events. Proceeds from the self-guided tour, featuring beautiful Lafayette homes with masterfully designed, unique and awe-inspiring outdoor spaces, benefit several local non-profits. Tickets available here.
Moraga Education Foundation (MEF) Auction Gala, April 30, Diablo Country Club. Celebrating 40 years, the annual MEF auction raises funds to support Moraga’s public schools. Donations to the MEF empower educators to achieve excellence in learning, teaching and leading so that every child can be safe, healthy, supported, engaged and challenged. More information here.
