New Year: New Goals

Social-Listings-2-copy-2

Need a little new year inspiration? My team has a few goals to share and inspire you! Call them what you will, goals or resolutions, the practice of establishing annual objectives is gratifying. Setting goals indicates a desire for positive change, and even if we are not completely successful in achieving those goals, we’ve likely moved the needle just a little bit. And any success, even small amounts, can feel triumphant.

In my family, we are working on updating a few bathrooms in our Lafayette house and getting ready to host our son’s wedding in St Helena. I am also trying hard to swim three mornings a week which always makes me happy.

Here are a few inspiring goals from my team:

My goal is to read more books and learn to play bridge. Lauren Woolsey

I’d like to re-do my laundry room to gain more space. I’m thinking of a stacked washer and dryer, and a murphy-style dog bed. Ann-Marie Quinn

Recently married, my husband and I are looking forward to our honeymoon adventure to the Lofoten Islands in Norway to see the northern lights. It is still an unprecedented time to travel, but we are hoping that we can do it safely later this spring. Matt Boone

My goals include preparing our twins for the end of their senior year, Acalanes High School graduations, squeezing in a family vacation, and then successfully sending them off to college! Wendy Means

I’ve committed to waking up at 5:30 am to spend quiet time by myself (before my kids and husband wake) to journal and plan for the day. I also hope to take family walks on the Lafayette trail every Saturday morning. Lauren Campopiano

I’m planning to complete a half marathon. I’m signed up for the SF run in July. Running has always been a great outlet for me and I can’t wait to get into a solid routine once my training starts! Amy Oum

This year, the Petersons are hoping to build a garage (which involves moving a road!). Tucker, our oldest, will turn 18 this year, graduate high school, and start at Brown. Charlie will start driving …look out! Ginny Peterson

My personal goals for 2022 are to volunteer more and try one new dinner recipe per week.

My family hopes to travel/visit several colleges as we have a junior at Acalanes High School who will be filling out college applications before we know it! Emily Forschler

We hope we’ve inspired you!
